Scrim Tapes
A scrim embedded in a coating of glue on a liner (silicone paper or film).
Presentation
Scrim tapes are in effect reinforced transfer tapes. They are high performance economical products widely used in the converting and die-cutting industries on foam.
Characteristics / Advantages
- The scrim facilitates the application of the glue.
- The scrim provides stretch resistance for foam or elastic products.
- A high glue coatweight can be obtained useful for irregular surfaces (ex : foam and cellular rubber)
